Cats & Rabbits & More is not a shelter or a rescue group and therefore does not take in animals. Contact a rescue group or shelter in your area if you are unable to keep your pet. Click here for an article from San Diego House Rabbit Society on finding a home for a rabbit.
Cats & Rabbits & More supports the efforts of rescue groups and shelters through this website. In particular, we are happy to help the smaller rescuers (who do not have the same resources as larger groups) publicize their adoptable animals at no cost to them, and we help publicize smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and rats which don't typically get as much publicity as dogs and cats. Sales of products through the website help us to cover our expenses, and we are happy to make annual donations to animal rescue groups.
Cats & Rabbits & More was founded in 1997 by Amy Spintman. Amy is a life-long cat lover and became a "rabbit person" too when she adopted her first rabbit, Lacey, in 1995. She has been an active volunteer with the San Diego House Rabbit Society since 1996 and is a licensed Educator with the House Rabbit Society. She has made presentations to San Diego HRS and National HRS about Disabled Rabbits, and is the list owner/moderator for the Disabled Rabbits groups on YahooGroups! and Facebook.
