Grind finely and toss together:
1/2 cup steel cut or rolled oats
1/2 cup grass hay pellets
1/3 cup dried rose petals
1 T dried mint leaves
Place in blender:
1 unpeeled red apple, cored, in ~8 pieces
1/3-1/2 banana
2-3 T Libby's pumpkin
2-3 T rose water (rose hydrosol)
......puree until smooth and homogeneous.
Dump wet ingredients into dry ingredients and be a kid again ... use your hands to compress a dough. If too crumbly, sprinkle another ~T rose water over the dough. Roll out between sheets, silicone, parchment paper, waxed paper or plastic (ick) wrap to about 1/8 inch thick. Any thickness is OK but thicker will take longer to dry, and whatever thickness you like, try to keep it uniform. Shape as you like. I started with a mini sitting bunny cutter but lost patience after forming two rows, so I just cut rhe rest in uniform diamond shapes.
Bake low temp, long time, about 300-325 degrees F for :30-:45. Convection or gas ovens will dry these before browning which is nice. Allow to cool in oven once turned off to finish drying. Drying time is relative to thickness of dough and ambient humidity, so adjust as needed.
A dehydrator can finish drying these also, and redry any that soften in storage.
